The first ceiling has been completed, in the Brewery, Zaailand, Leeuwarden. Surprizingly in tact, so only delicate restauration. Cleaning, making identical the structure of the stucco to the original and finally retouching with the correct colour and shine.
So now the second ceiling. Badly damaged so it has to be reconstructed. Stucco done by Doeke of De Alde Stjelp. New painting in colours based on the original. It will be fantastic, the great polychomy of restorer Randolph Algera.
