Team Art-Decor restored three ceilings in the former governor's residence (1870) to become the most beautiful in Leeuwarden. He is organizing this tour on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Algera's restoration and art company Art-Decor. Because the building houses a real city brewery, you will also taste various beers brewed on site, with delicious matching snacks. Randolph is raffling off among the participants of the tour an overnight stay in 'his' Algera suite in this building, which is now a hotel, grand café and restaurant. The room is named after him in gratitude.

You can recognize details from the mural on the labels of the beer.

In de Brouwerij is a Grand Café, brewery and hotel in the bustling center of Leeuwarden. In De Brouwerij you immerse yourself in the world of beer. How was beer brewed in the past, and how is it done today? One thing is certain: you are in for a true experience. Drink and dine in the place where the brewing kettles and beautiful ceilings enhance the ambiance. And did you know that the coach house used to be here, on this exact spot?

There used to be more than 100 city breweries in Leeuwarden. Unfortunately, the last city brewery closed its doors in 1865. Since the arrival of In de Brouwerij, the city can once again enjoy a unique catering facility. With the allure of the past and the ultra-modern elements of today. Discover the story of the Seedlander Buckwheat Blond! Did you know, for example, that the Hannekemaiers, workers from Germany, among others, used to make appointments at the Zaailand? This was their meeting place with the farmers.
